How do I set up the Action Button?

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Action Button.
  3. Swipe to App.
  4. Tap Choose an App, then pick Drawer.

Now press and hold the button on the side of your iPhone, and Drawer opens. The Action Button is on iPhone 15 Pro and later. On other iPhones, keep Drawer on your Home Screen or in your Dock.

How do I see the setup guide again?

Tap the sliders button under your Drawer, then Setup Guide.

Apps and shortcuts

How do I add shortcuts?

  1. Tap + under your Drawer, then Connect Your Shortcuts.
  2. Add the small Load into Drawer helper shortcut when asked, and run it. It hands Drawer the names of your shortcuts.
  3. Tap the shortcuts you want. Each one shows with the icon of the app it opens.

Made a new shortcut later? Tap Refresh List and it appears.

Why isn’t one of my apps found automatically?

iPhone only lets apps check for a list of well-known apps, so Drawer can’t see everything you have installed. You can still add any app: tap +, then Add Custom App or Shortcut, and enter the app’s link or the exact name of a shortcut that opens it.

An app has the wrong icon.

Tap the sliders button, tap the app, and choose a different icon or search the App Store for the right one. You can rename it there too.

Arranging your Drawer

How do I reorder my apps?

Hold an icon and drag it to a new spot. You can also tap the sliders button and drag apps up and down in the list.

How do I remove an app?

Hold its icon and choose Remove from Drawer. This only removes it from Drawer, not from your iPhone.

Why did the icons get bigger or smaller?

Drawer sizes the icons to fill the screen. The fewer apps you have, the bigger they are.

Privacy

What does Drawer know about me?

Nothing leaves your iPhone except icon lookups on Apple’s App Store by app name. Your list stays on your iPhone, and there’s no account, no ads and no tracking. Read the privacy policy.
